Usher and Nas Address Police Brutality in New "Chains" Video

Last year, Usher and Nas teamed up with German artist Bibi Bourelly (co-writer of Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money”) on a new song called “Chains.” The video, which comprised photos and descriptions of victims of police brutality and racially charged murders, was launched on Tidal using web cam and facial recognition technology to ensure that you “don’t look away.” Now, the track has a new, standard-format video directed by Film the Future, as Miss Info points out. Watch it below.

In the clip, Usher runs from police and into a church, where a wake is being held. Moments later he’s being driven away in a cop car, as bystanders hold placards reading “Just following orders” and “Am I next?”
