Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, iLoveMakonnen, Chromeo, Rashida Jones Remember Prince on Beats 1

This week on his Beats 1 show “Time Crisis,” Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig invited guests to share memories of the late Prince. iLoveMakonnen, Chromeo, and Rashida Jones all showed up. Jones shared a memory of Prince attending her birthday party. Koenig also compared the hits of the week (by Rihanna, Drake, Desiigner, and Zayn) to the hits of this week in 1968 (the Beatles, Aretha Franklin, and more). Listen to the whole episode here.

Prince was found dead at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota on Thursday at 57. Support has poured out from across the musical community.
