Watch Factory Floor’s “Ya” Video

Back in May, Factory Floor announced 25 25, their first album in three years and follow-up to their 2013 self-titled debut. Now, they’ve shared a video for the album track “Ya.” Watch it below. Directed by Factory Floor’s Nik Void and Gabe Gurnsey along with former bandmate Tilly Morris, it features a woman using Void’s sculptures like a telephone switchboard. “I was looking at the German New York artist Isa Genzken and thought I need to make a plaster synth!” Void said in a statement. “I like the idea of someone playing it under my instruction off camera then the synth take on a life of its own—like the true nature of modular synthesis.” 25 25 is out August 19 via DFA. The band will premiere material from the record during a show that takes place at London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts on August 25.
