Watch Father John Misty Perform “Total Entertainment Forever” on “SNL”

Father John Misty was the musical guest on last night’s episode of “Saturday Night Live.” Host Octavia Spencer introduced his performance of “Total Entertainment Forever,” a new cut off his forthcoming album Pure Comedy (which was released as a single last night). The song notably opens with this line: “Bedding Taylor Swift every night inside the Oculus Rift/After mister and the missus finish dinner and the dishes.” Watch it happen below. He also performed the album’s title track during the show.

To date, Josh Tillman has shared “Pure Comedy,” “Two Wildly Different Perspectives,” “Ballad of the Dying Man,” and “Leaving LA,” along with a short film and a long essay on the album.
