Watch Lauryn Hill Perform “Rebel” on “Charlie Rose”

Earlier this month, Lauryn Hill shared “Rebel,” an updated version of “I Find It Hard To Say (Rebel)” from 2002’s MTV Unplugged 2.0. Today, she performed the new version on “Charlie Rose.” Watch the performance below. “Old tune, new Version, same context, even more relevant now: sick and tired of being sick and tired,” Hill previously wrote of the song in a statement.

Hill is currently touring alongside Nas, Kehlani, Little Simz, and Noname as part of “MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling!,” a tour which features “artists throughout the African diaspora.” Last night, her show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles was live streamed on Tidal. Earlier this month, she performed at Jay Z and Beyoncé’s Tidal X charity concert at the Barclays Center.
