Watch Lorde Get Silenced by Male Feminists in “SNL” Sketch

Lorde was the musical guest on last night’s episode of “Saturday Night Live.” In addition to performing her new songs “Green Light” and “Liability,” she appeared in a sketch alongside host Scarlett Johansson. In the International Women’s Day-themed sketch, two male feminists (Beck Bennett and Kyle Mooney) explained how hard it is to be a woman (to a room full of silent women) before inviting Lorde to sing. As she starts, she is almost immediately interrupted by the men, who sing her Pure Heroine single “Royals.” Watch it happen below.
