Watch Maxwell’s New Video for “1990x”

Back in July, Maxwell released blackSUMMERS’night, his first album since 2009’s similarly named BLACKsummers’night. Now, he’s shared the video for the single “1990x.” Watch it below. Directed by Philip Andelman, it follows Maxwell as he drinks, smokes, and serenades a woman in his lap. “On the set shooting the 1990X video think TOM FORD,” he said of the video in a tweet.
