Watch Moonlight’s Climactic “Classic Man” Scene

Moonlight is Barry Jenkins’ new three-part film about a boy named Chiron (played by Trevante Rhodes, Ashton Sanders, and Alex Hibbert, representing different ages) coming of age in Miami. Since its October release, the film has been met with widespread critical acclaim. In one particular scene, Chiron (now an adult, played by Rhodes, and going by the nickname “Black”) has a pivotal conversation in car with an old friend named Kevin (André Holland). Playing in the background is a chopped-and-screwed version of Jidenna’s hit single “Classic Man.” Below, watch a clip from that scene.
