Watch Run the Jewels Bring Out Zack de la Rocha at Politically Charged D.C. Show

Last night, Run the Jewels hit Echostage in Washington D.C. for a rescheduled concert, after a water main break forced them to cancel their initial “Run the World” Tour date. Performing on the eve of the inauguration, they were joined on stage by Zack de la Rocha for a live rendition of their collaborations, “Kill Your Masters” and “Close Your Eyes (And Count to Fuck).” Killer Mike also played “Reagan”—concluding with a “Fuck Ronald Reagan/Donald Trump” chant—and the duo did selections from RTJ3, as well as bringing out Gangsta Boo for “Love Again.” During the show, Killer Mike gave an impassioned speech about the state of the nation. Watch clips below.

“No matter who won, the day after tomorrow, this is our mother-fucking country,” Mike says. “I don’t give a fuck who is president. This is our country. And what we will keep this republic going on is truth, honesty, integrity, love, and democracy.”
