Watch Run the Jewels Talk Bernie, Grammys, More on “The Daily Show”

Run the Jewels were guests on “The Daily Show” last night. Killer Mike and El-P sat down with Trevor Noah to discuss their current touring success, putting out their records for free, El-P’s past as the head of Def Jux, getting snubbed by the Grammys for RTJ2, and Mike’s ongoing support of Bernie Sanders. El also discussed making Meow the Jewels (“that stupid shit”) for a good cause. “You know what you should do on the next one?” Noah jokes. “You should replace all the instruments with Bernie sounds. ‘Wall Street! W-w-w-wall Street!’” Watch their full discussion below.

Tonight, Pitchfork will stream Run the Jewel’s Terminal 5 concert via Facebook Live. At an earlier show, the duo unveiled an IPA named “Stay Gold” (titled after the RTJ3 track of the same name), which was developed in partnership with Interboro Brewing, a brewery run by former Def Jux manager Jesse Ferguson.
