Watch Schoolboy Q’s Blank Face Video Trilogy

Watch Schoolboy Q’s Blank Face Video Trilogy

A major part of Schoolboy Q’s Blank Face rollout has been a narrative video trilogy, featuring short films for the songs “By Any Means,” “Tookie Knows II,” and now, “Black THougHts,” as Stereogum points out. The suite has centered on tense interactions with the cops before and after a pawn shop robbery. The “Black THougHts” video, directed by Jack Begert and Dave Free of tHe little Homies, finds several suspects slumped in a courtroom, before Q imagines two alternative futures: one in which he’s sent to prison, and another where he remains free to spend time with his daughter. Check out all three videos below.
