Watch Shawty Lo’s Posthumous “Put Some Respek on It” Video

Yesterday, Shawty Lo (co-founder of D4L) was killed in a car crash. Prior to his passing, Lo was planning a concert where he would memorialize his father, who died of a heart attack earlier this month, by performing his new song “L2MF” (“Letter to My Father”). Following his death, the show will now be dedicated to Lo, according to Lo’s manager, and Beanie Sigel is scheduled to be onstage, TMZ reports. The concert takes place tonight, Thursday, September 22, at Club Oxygen in Baltimore.

In addition to the tribute concert, the music video for Shawty Lo’s “Put Some Respek on It” has been released posthumously. The song appeared on Lo’s 2016 mixtape Built Not Bought. Watch the Picture Perfect-directed clip below. Also watch Lo’s “L2MF” video (directed by Lo and Milton Swift).
