Watch Shearwater Cover David Bowie’s 1979 Album Lodger

Artists have been lining up to pay tribute to the late, great David Bowie since his passing—everyone from LCD Soundsystem to the Flaming Lips to Arcade Fire’s Win Butler and Kurt Vile. Shearwater added their name to the list with covers from Bowie’s 1979 album Lodger for the A.V. Club’s “A.V. Undercover” series. Watch the session below. Back in March, Michael Stipe, Pixies, the Mountain Goats, Cat Power, Debbie Harry, and more performed at a Bowie tribute concert at Carnegie Hall. A second show was held at Radio City Music Hall.
