Watch Sufjan Stevens’ New Planetarium Video “Venus”

Sufjan Stevens has animated a new music video for the song “Venus,” off his upcoming Planetarium project with the National’s Bryce Dessner, Nico Muhly, and James McAlister. Espousing good attitudes towards body image, Stevens shared the video to his Tumblr with this note: “Peace to you! Stay body positive! Keep it moving. Keep it real.” Watch it below. Stevens employed a similar stop-motion cut-out style in his recent video for Asthmatic Kitty signee Angelo De Augustine. Planetarium is out June 9—the members are slated to go on a short tour behind the album this summer.
