Watch the Hamilton Mixtape Live Stream: The Roots, Regina Spektor, Ashanti/Ja Rule, More

Tomorrow, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s star-studded Hamilton Mixtape will be released. Today at the Richard Rodgers Theatre—the same place where Hamilton is performed—artists from the mixtape played songs from the album live. Watch the live stream below. 

Black Thought of the Roots kicked things off with “No John Trumbell,” before being joined by Joell Ortiz for the “My Shot” remix. Lin-Manuel Miranda was not present, but delivered a video message from London. Regina Spektor performed “Dear Theodosia,” then Andra Day did “Burn.” Finally, Ashanti and Ja Rule wrapped things up with their duet on “Helpless.”

The mixtape features Chance the Rapper, Nas, Common, Regina Spektor, the Roots, Francis and the Lights, Alicia Keys, Wiz Khalifa, Kelly Clarkson, Riz MC, and others. Check out tracks from the album by Miguel, Sia, Queen Latifah, Busta Rhymes, Ashanti and Ja Rule.
