Watch the National Bring Out St. Vincent to Perform a New Song

The National performed a new song, “Prom Song 13th Century (Frankie & Johnny),” at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles last night. For a helping hand, they brought out St. Vincent, who duetted with Matt Berninger while peering over a lyric sheet on the floor. At the end, they joined hands for a dance and twirl. “I realized I don’t know how to spin somebody,” Berninger said, sadly. Watch it happen below.

Back in 2009, the National and St. Vincent teamed up to cover Crooked Fingers’ “Sleep All Summer.”
