Watch the Range’s Superimpose Documentary

The Range (aka James Hinton) has released a new documentary, Superimpose. It spotlights the YouTube artists he sampled while working on his sophomore album, Potential. The doc comes with a seven-song companion EP. Watch Superimpose below, and stream the EP here. Directed by Daniel Kaufman, it journeys through the homes and histories of the artists, including a Brooklyn teenager named Kai, a Jamaican correctional officer and dancehall singer named Damian “Naturaliss” Gordon, and more.

Superimpose will screen in New York, London, and Berlin. See the dates for the showings, as well as Hinton’s tour schedule below.
