Watch the Shins Perform New Songs “Dead Alive,” “Rubber Balls”

Making their return to playing live for the first time since 2013, the Shins performed new songs during their recent shows in the United Kingdom. New songs include “Dead Alive” and “Rubber Balls.” Check out footage of the new songs below, taken during their show at Village Underground on September 2 by Reddit user LostToTheLight.

Earlier this month in an interview with Portland’s KBOO 90.7, Mercer said that the band had completed work on an upcoming album. He also said that it would come out “early next year,” with a tentative January 2017 release date. The last Shins album was 2012’s Port of Morrow.
