Watch Ty Segall, As a Squirrel, Sing a New Song on HBO’s “Animals”

This season, HBO’s “Animals.” features a bunch of special guests, including Solange, Kim Gordon, Big Sean, Usher, Ice-T, and Fred Armisen. Last week’s episode featured Ty Segall, who plays himself as a squirrel. In the episode, Segall and his band performed at a wedding. Ty gave someone advice on how to write a song, screamed at his squirrel bandmate Mikal Cronin, declared his admiration for a young YouTube sensation, and played an original song about nuts. In the clip below, watch him perform a song about being an animal. The episode follows Killer Mike and Big Boi’s appearance as rapping cats earlier this season. On the first season of “Animals,” Kurt Vile also played a squirrel and also sang a song about nuts.
