Wavves Details New Album V

Last week, Wavves‘ Nathan Williams sent a series of angry tweets aimed at Warner Bros. Records about various disputes over his new album’s release. Among other things, he wrote, “It’s so obnoxious to work tirelessly on something and then have a bunch of ppl who just see me as a money sign go and fuck it all up.”

But now, the album details have been announced. It’s titled V and it’s out October 2 via Ghost Ramp/Warner Bros. Above, listen to “Way Too Much”. Find the tracklist below.

V was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Woody Jackson. Band members Stephen Pope and Alex Gates both contributed writing to the album, in addition to Williams.

It follows Williams’ Sweet Valley split EP with MNDR, debut LP with Spirit Club, and collaborative album with Cloud Nothings.
