Weyes Blood Shares Video for New Song “Generation Why”: Watch

Weyes Blood has shared a new single from her forthcoming album Front Row Seat to Earth, “Generation Why.” Watch the music video for it below. It follows her previously released songs “Do You Need My Love” and “Seven Words.” Front Row Seat to Earth arrives October 21 via Mexican Summer. In an interview with Pitchfork, Weyes Blood’s Natalie Mering explained how “Generation Why” came about from the idea that “YOLO” exists because “the cataclysm of climate change and all that is very physical and it affects our ability to survive on the planet.”
