Wire and Swans to Perform Together at Wire-Curated DRILL Festival
Post-punk legends Wire are the masterminds behind a series of festivals called Drill—they’ve previously taken place in Seattle and London. Drill: Brighton (co-curated with One Inch Badge) will take place across several venues in Brighton, and awesomely, it features a one-off collaboration between Wire and Swans.
Appropriately, the two bands will team up to perform an extended version of the Wire track “Drill”. Wire will also perform with the Pinkflag Guitar Orchestra, which is comprised of members of various bands on the Drill lineup.
The lineup features Savages, Courtney Barnett, Toy, Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin performing Suspiria, Gold Panda, Swans’ Thor Harris, Mono, Damo Suzuki, and more. There will also be Krautrock Karaoke. Find full festival details here.
