Yeasayer Unveil New Track, More Crazy Album Art in Surreal New Video

Yeasayer recently announced their new album Amen & Goodbye, the followup to 2012′s Fragrant World. They also unveiled its surreal cover art, featuring grotestque, fantastical sculptures and images by artist David Altmejd. Now, the band have revealed the full, gatefold album art, featuring more of Altmejd’s work, via an eerie, surreal video. Watch the clip, which includes gloopy bloodtrails and flayed mannequins, glitchy live models and elderly folk immured in sand, plus a floating orange head that is eerily Trump-esque, below. It’s soundtracked by a previously unreleased album track.

Yeasayer describe the art as “Sgt. Pepper meets Hieronymus Bosch meets Dali meets Pee-wee’s Playhouse.”

The band have also announced some festival dates. Find those below.

Amen & Goodbye is out April 1 on Mute
