Yoko Ono has been taken to the hospital after possibly suffering a stroke, according to CBS New York. She was found unconscious in her apartment and then rushed to a Manhattan hospital, the FDNY told CBS. Pitchfork has reached out to Ono’s representatives for comment. Update (2/26 11:59 p.m. EST): Ono’s representative Elliot Mintz has told the Associated Press that she was hospitalized for flu-like symptoms on her doctor’s advice. He added that she will likely be released from the hospital shortly, possibly as soon as Saturday. Update (2/27 12:18 a.m. EST): Yoko Ono’s son Sean Ono Lennon has tweeted that his mother “is FINE.” He says that she was just tired and dehydrated. See his tweets below.

Ono was taken to New York’s Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital. Her husband John Lennon died at the same hospital after being shot in 1980.

Hey guys it was only rumors from press: was NOT a stroke, just dehydration/tired. She is FINE. Thank you everyone for your concern @yokoono
