Young Thug Pays Tribute to Prince by Photoshopping His Face Onto Prince's Body, Dressing Like Him

Last night, Young Thug performed at the PlayStation Theater in New York City. To pay tribute to Prince, Thug dressed up like the late icon for the show, as Pigeons and Planes points out. He wore a blouse and lace gloves, and had Prince’s “Love Symbol” attached to his microphone. He also had a Prince projection (including one on which he Photoshopped his own face onto Prince’s body) behind him. There was a cardboard cutout of Prince on stage, too. See some photos and watch the Purple Thug perform below.

In the video for his new song “Texas Love,” Thug paid tribute to Prince by spray painting his famed symbol on a wall. On the day of Prince’s passing, Thug reacted by posting a photo of the artist with the caption “I quit…”
