Youth Lagoon Details Savage Hills Ballroom, Shares “The Knower”
Youth Lagoon, aka Trevor Powers, has shared more details about his forthcoming record Savage Hills Ballroom, the ten-track follow up to 2013′s Wondrous Bughouse. The new record is due out September 25 via Fat Possum. Check out the track list below. Powers also shared “The Knower”, which was recently released as a free 7″. Listen to that below via NPR.
Savage Hills Ballroom was recorded in Bristol, England, and co-produced by Ali Chant (PJ Harvey). “I think I’ve had a lot of barriers in my life in general that I don’t let people past, and I’ve gotten really sick of all that,” Powers said in a statement. “It’s too tiring trying to pretend you don’t have as many flaws as everyone else.”
He’ll also head out on tour beginning in September. Find those dates below.
