6 Albums Out Today You Should Listen to Now: Car Seat Headrest, Day of the Dead, Ariana Grande, and More

With so much good music being released all the time, it can be hard to determine what to listen to first. Every week, Pitchfork offers a run-down of significant new releases available on streaming services. This week’s batch includes the National’s all-star Grateful Dead tribute album, Car Seat Headrest, Ariana Grande, Bob Dylan, Pantha du Prince, and Marissa Nadler.

Car Seat Headrest: Teens of Denial [Matador]

Car Seat Headrest’s new record follows last year’s Teens of Style. The release was preceded by the video for “Vincent” and lyric videos for “Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales” and “Fill in the Blank.” The album does not, however, feature any kind of musical nod to the Cars’ “Just What I Needed.” Read our track reviews for “Vincent” and “Fill in the Blank,” which was named Best New Track.
