Angel Olsen, Explosions in the Sky, Wolves in the Throne Room, More to Play Basilica SoundScape 2016

Basilica SoundScape returns to Hudson, New York for its fifth year from September 16-18. It takes place once again at Basilica Hudson, a waterfront arts and performance space located inside a reclaimed 19th-century factory. It’s co-curated by former Pitchfork editor Brandon Stosuy, Brian DeRan (Leg Up! Management), Melissa Auf der Maur (Basilica Hudson co-founder and director), and Tony Stone (Basilica Hudson co-founder).

Today, the festival announced its initial lineup. Explosions in the Sky, Angel Olsen, Wolves in the Throne Room, Youth Code, and Cobalt will all perform. In addition to the live concert performances, the weekend includes “conceptual sound performances, author readings, installations, collaborations, curated local vendors and artisans, on-site activities, and more.” Tickets are available here.
