Remember Limitless, the 2011 action movie where Bradley Cooper becomes limitless? It nearly featured original music from Animal Collective, as the band revealed today during a Reddit AMA.

When asked if they ever considered scoring a film, Geologist replied: “We got asked to do some music for that movie Limitless while they were filming it, but when we talked to the director he just wanted something that sounded like an instrumental version of ‘Summertime Clothes‘ which we weren’t very excited about.”

Limitless was later turned into a TV show that’s currently airing its first season, so there’s still time for AnCo to be involved with Mr. Cooper. Bradley, get in touch!

Elsewhere in the AMA, Avey Tare said he has no further plans for his Slasher Flicks side project. They also called 2012′s Centipede Hz their hardest record to record, and 2007′s Strawberry Jam the hardest record to mix.
