London Nightclub Fabric Will Reopen

London Nightclub Fabric Will Reopen

London nightclub Fabric was closed down in September after its license was revoked by the local town council following the drug-related deaths of two 18-year-old clubbers. Numerous artists protested the closure and launched benefit efforts, citing Fabric’s importance to dance music. Now, following appeal hearings, it has been announced that the club will reopen.

A judge has signed off on an agreement reached by the club with the Islington Council and the Metropolitan Police, The Independent reports. The agreement includes an age restriction of 19 and over for main events, plus CCTV cameras, ID scanning, and a lifetime ban for any clubbers that are caught asking for drugs. An official reopening date has not yet been announced.
