Anna Meredith Leading Residency for Young Female Artists

Anna Meredith, alongside the guitarist/composer Jack Ross and visual artist Eleanor Meredith, will lead a four day residency for young female musicians and multidisciplinary artists. It happens July 18-21 at Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry in collaboration with Brighter Sound. The group will create work inspired by museum’s “Wonder Materials: Graphene and Beyond” exhibition. The group’s work will premiere at a performance on the July 27 at the museum’s “Science in The City Late” event. The residency and performance were produced as part of Manchester’s Science in the City Festival, which celebrates Manchester’s recent selection as the European City of Science.
