Arca Details New Album Mutant, Shares “EN” Video

Arca has detailed his new album Mutant, the follow up to last year’s Xen. It’s out November 20 via Mute and features previously released tracks “Vanity” and “Soichiro”. It also features “EN”—check out the song’s video, directed by Arca, below.

The album will be available on CD, download, and 2xLP. The artwork (below) is by Arca’s friend and frequent collaborator Jesse Kanda. “Mutant is about sensuality and impulsiveness as escape routes out of rigidity. Softness as a weapon when the mind attacks itself,” Arca said of the album in a statement.

Update 9/15 2:53 p.m. EST: As a reader points out, “EN” appears on Arca’s previously released Sheep score. “Umbilical”, “Else”, “Hymn” appear on that collection’s track listing as well.
