Axl Rose Performs Guns 'N Roses Show in Cast While Sitting in Dave Grohl's Giant Foo Fighters Throne

Remember when Dave Grohl broke his leg during a Foo Fighters show last year? For a long stretch of tour dates, he was forced to perform while sitting on a giant Foo Fighter throne (which he designed while “high as a kite” on pain pills). After Axl Rose injured his foot, he was given doctor’s orders to stay off his feet during live shows. Rose’s first Guns ‘N Roses show with an injured foot was last night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and during the set, he sat on a throne that looked an awful lot like Grohl’s, Rolling Stone reports. Near the end of the set, the giant Foo Fighters logo was revealed. “That’s a good advertisement,” Rose reportedly said. Pitchfork has reached out to representatives of both bands for clarification. Find footage of the performance below.

In 1992 during Nirvana’s infamous MTV VMAs performance, Grohl finished the song by leaving his drums, running up to the mic, and repeatedly screaming “Hi Axl!” at Rose.
