Basilica SoundScape Set Times Revealed

Basilica SoundScape returns to Basilica Hudson in Hudson, New York from September 11-13. Today, the set times for each day have been revealed; find the breakdown below. There has also been a change to the lineup: Lydia Ainsworth has replaced Blanck Mass on Friday’s lineup. (Blanck Mass was forced to cancel due to visa issues.)

Also, Godspeed You! Black Emperor will perform a pre-festival show on Tuesday, September 8 at Basilica Hudson. Doors are at 8 p.m. Tickets are available for $20 in advance and $25 at the door for the show. Advance ticket purchasers can buy weekend passes for Basilica SoundScape for the discounted price of $60. Find information about that here.

Friday opens with a screening of We Won’t Bow Down, a film about the secret culture of the Mardi Gras Indian. At 1 a.m., an afterparty will take place at the Half Moon (48 S. Front St.) featuring DJ Ephraim Asili.

At 1 a.m., an afterparty at the Half Moon will feature the Haxan Cloak, Robin Carolan (Tri Angle Records), and Rainbow in the Dark.

Basilica Soundscape is organized by Pitchfork Managing Editor Brandon Stosuy, Basilica Hudson Founders and Creative Directors Melissa Auf der Mar and Tony Stone, and Leg Up Management’s Brian DeRan.

Watch the interactive documentary on last year’s festival, which lets the viewer choose the order in which they watch performances from Swans, Deafheaven, Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry, White Lung, and more. The documentary, which was co-directed by Jim Larson and William Colby, includes footage of the surrounding Hudson Valley to give the viewer the full experience of this unique festival.
