Beanie Sigel’s Lung Removed Following Shooting

Beanie Sigel, aka Dwight Grant, was shot last month outside his home in Pleasantville, New Jersey. Now, TMZ reports that Sigel’s lung has been removed, because it contained too many fragments from a bullet fired into his stomach. 

At the time of the shooting, Sigel’s lawyer said that he believed the rapper wasn’t the intended target. According to TMZ, the police also believe that the shooter was aiming for the man standing next to Sigel.

Sigel has now been released from the hospital to the Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation in Pomona, New Jersey.
