Beck and Thurston Moore Perform Together, Accompanied by Cowboys, in London

Last night, Beck participated in Doug Aitken’s Station to Station project at the Barbican in London, accompanied by Thurston Moore. The performance was billed as “an evening of music, poetry and visual arts,” pairing music with poetry readings by Simon Armitage and others; the cinematic backdrop belied a cowboy theme, further emphasized by Beck (and some onstage actors’) Wild West garb.

The Guardian reports that Beck performed the rare Stereopathetic Soulmanure cut “Waitin’ For A Train” that evening, along with Morning Phase‘s “Wave”; Moore, meanwhile, played his song “Speak to the Wild” (off 2014′s The Best Day). Check out out footage of it below via Stereogum.
