Big Thief Announce New Album Capacity, Share New “Mythological Beauty” Video: Watch

Big Thief have announced the follow-up to their great 2016 album Masterpiece. The band’s forthcoming LP Capacity will be available June 9 via Saddle Creek. They also shared the music video for their first single, “Mythological Beauty.” Watch below. “There is a darker darkness and a lighter light on this album,” said singer and guitarist Adrianna Lenker in a statement. “The songs search for a deeper level of self-acceptance, to embrace the world within and without. I think Masterpiece began that process, as a first reaction from inside the pain, and Capacity continues that examination with a wider perspective.” The band will embark on a tour that begins in April and ends in August.
