Bill Callahan Lyrics Collected in Book I Drive a Valance

Drag City has announced I Drive a Valance, a book that collects the lyrics of Bill Callahan under his own name and as Smog. It includes the lyrics of 70 songs, as well as 116 ink-wash images made by Callahan himself. As Drag City puts it on their store listing, “The (nearly) Complete Callahan Joke Book – whoops, we meant Lyric Book! You’ll get a chuckle out of it no matter what you call it.” Sounds like a great time. It’s out October 21.
