Billy Corgan Announces 5xLP Siddhartha Vinyl Set
In 2014, Billy Corgan performed an eight-hour ambient set inspired by Hermann Hesse’s 1922 novel Siddhartha; the results were bizarre. For fans who could not attend the event, Corgan is now offering a 5xLP vinyl box set of his performance. The package is limited to 500 copies and is available from Madame ZuZu’s (the Chicago tea shop Corgan opened in 2012) for $375. Each box set is hand-numbered and signed by Corgan and includes an art print by Linda Strawberry, a Stylophone pocket synthesizer, and a baseball cap.
In addition to the vinyl package, Corgan is also offering a customized “Christmastime” record player. Fans will automatically be entered to win the record player by ordering the Siddartha box as well as any looseleaf tea from the site.
