Birdman Possibly Takes Shots at Lil Wayne on "Fuk Em": Watch

Although Birdman and Lil Wayne spent the better part of 2015 feuding (with Wayne suing Birdman over the delayed release of Tha Carter V, and Cash Money suing Jay Z and Tidal over FWA, as well as Birdman–along with Young Thug–getting accused of conspiring to kill Wayne), the two rappers appeared to have resolved their beef in 2016. They even appeared on Mannie Fresh’s song “Hate” together. Birdman, however, seems to have started the fight all over again with a new diss track that seems to be aimed at Wayne. In “Fuk Em,” which features Neno Calvin and Hot Boy, Birdman asks a series of rhetorical questions that take credit for other rappers’ success.

Who put this shit together, nigga? Me, that’s who. Who took nothing turned it into something that started with nothing? Me, that’s who. Who made niggas millionaires and they ain’t had nothin’ before I met ‘em and I then made ‘em into somethin’, nigga? Me, that’s who. Who went to the penitentiary caught five and had 15 and came out with 10 on paper, nigga? Me, that’s who. Who come from Uptown movin’ birds, puttin’ in work, gettin’ to work, nigga? Me, that’s who. Who sold a billion records, nigga? Me, that’s who. Who was 16, nigga, with a mil cash, nigga? Me, that’s who.

Further confusing matters, Birdman recently shared a photo of him and Wayne smiling with the caption “4Life #ymcmb4life.” “Fuk Em” follows a January report that stated Wayne was still suing Birdman. The song could also appear on Birdman’s upcoming album Ms. Gladys, which he says is out June 24. Ms. Gladys is one of two projects the mogul’s been prepping. He says a new Rich Gang album is out July 1. See the “Fuk Em” teaser, the friendly photo, and the artwork for the two upcoming albums below.
