Black Hippy Remix Schoolboy Q’s “THat Part”: Listen

Black Hippy—the Top Dawg Entertainment crew consisting of Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, and Jay Rock—have shared a new remix of Schoolboy Q’s single “THat Part.” In his closing verse Schoolboy raps: “Gangbanging like we stand for something/When Alton Sterling gettin’ killed for nothing/Two cowards in the car, they’re just there to film/Saying #BlackLivesMatter should’ve died with him” directly addressing the recent rise of police violence, the Black Lives Matter movement, and the shooting of Alton Sterling.  Stream it below. The remix comes hours before Schoolboy Q’s next album Blank Face is set to drop.
