Bruce Springsteen Releases Free Show Download to Make Up for Madison Square Garden Cancellation

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band were set to perform tonight at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, as part of their tour behind Springsteen‘s The Ties That Bind: The River Collection box set. Winter Storm Jonas forced the concert’s cancellation; a makeup date has yet to be announced (the band’s January 27 concert at MSG is still on.)

To make up for the postponed date, Springsteen has offered up a free download of the band’s January 19 show in Chicago (featuring their cover of the Eagles’ “Take It Easy,” performed in tribute to Glenn Frey). “Out here on E Street, we’re missing our fans at The Garden tonight, and wanted to send this along,” reads a statement on the band’s website. Click here to access an audio download of the entire show, but act fast: it’ll only be available for two days.
