During the latest installment of his BBC Radio 1 ResidencyJon Hopkins welcomed co-host Dan Snaith, aka Caribou. During the show, Snaith shared an untitled new Daphni track. Listen here at the 27-minute mark.

During the show, Snaith revealed that the song was created to play during his New Year’s Day live sets with Four Tet. He joked that it was “sloppily put together and poorly mixed”. “I’m sold,” replied Hopkins.

Later, they talked about Snaith growing a beard and subsequently walking around with only half of it shaved off. The show also features music by Radiohead, Hopkins, Four Tet, Clams Casino, and more.
