Cass McCombs Announces A Folk Set Apart: Rarities, B-Sides & Space Junk, Shares “Evangeline”

Cass McCombs is getting ready to release a compilation collecting rarities and B-sides spanning from 2003 to 2014. A Folk Set Apart: Rarities, B-Sides & Space Junk, Etc. is out December 11 via Domino. It includes five previously unreleased songs. Listen to “Evangeline”, a track from his 2014 tour-only split 7″ released with the Meat Puppets.

The comp’s vinyl pressing will include 11 songs with eight digital bonus tracks, while the CD and digital release will contain all 19 tracks. 

Collaborators on the collection include Phish’s Mike Gordon, Tim Dewitt (Gang Gang Dance, Dutch E. Germ), Deerhoof’s Chris Cohen, and more.

McCombs is also on the road with Kurt Vile and My Morning Jacket this fall. Find the dates below the tracklist.
