Chance the Rapper Announces Magnificent Coloring World 2

Last year, following the release of Coloring Book, Chance the Rapper hosted his inaugural Magnificent Coloring World in Chicago. The one-day event was essentially a Chance-themed carnival. There was dancing, singing, the Chicago Bulls mascot, and more. Now, Chance has announced Magnificent Coloring World 2, which takes place this Saturday, April 8, at a “Secret Location” in Chicago. In his announcement, Chance said he’s “only sending invites to the folks who know all the words.” According to emails from SoundCloud sent to fans, the streaming platform “identified [fans] in the top 0.001% of Chance’s listening fan base” to invite to the event. A spokesperson for SoundCloud told Pitchfork, “The 0.001% represents Chance‘s top fans on SoundCloud who live in the Chicago area, based on a combination of engagement metrics such as listening, likes, reposts and shares on SoundCloud.”
