Chet Faker Changes Name to Nick Murphy

Nick Murphy, the producer best known for his work as Chet Faker, has ditched the alias. He’ll now be performing and recording under his real name. He made the announcement on his Twitter. Below, find a statement he shared on the name change. As Chet Faker, Murphy released one full-length, Built on Glass, in 2014, and has since been touring under the name.

its been half a decade since I started releasing music as Chet Faker and all of you have been the driving force behind the music since.

theres an evolution happening and I wanted to let you know where its going.
