Last year, Chief Keef was dropped from Interscope. It’s now been reported that his contract with billionaire Alki David’s company FilmOn has been suspended. In a statement to VladTV (via Fader), David cited disagreements with Keef’s management.

“…His management went off and did a tour without our approval,” David said. “Not happy with the direction they are taking him.” He argues that his management are “limiting his appeal to a wider audience.”

He also was angry over Keef’s “Let It Blow” video with D. Flores. Flores was arrested for allegedly kidnapping a 15-year-old girl and forcing her into prostitution.

David added, “I don’t blame Keith—I blame his shady management—Keith is a fucking rap superstar.”

Keef signed with FilmOn back in May. This year, David and Keef’s plans for hologram concerts repeatedly fell apart due to police interference.
