Chris Cornell Toxicology Report Shows Prescription Drugs

TMZ has obtained the toxicology report from the night Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell died in his Detroit hotel room. According to the report, Cornell had Naloxone, Butalbital, Lorazepam, Pseudoephedrine, and barbiturates in his system when he died. “Many of us who know Chris well noticed that he wasn’t himself during his final hours and that something was very off,” Cornell’s widow Vicky said in a statement. (via Billboard) “We have learned from this report that several substances were found in his system.” On May 18, the Wayne County Medical Examiner ruled Cornell’s death a suicide by hanging.
