Coachella 2016: Watch Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar Join Anderson .Paak Onstage
During the first weekend of Coachella, Anderson .Paak was joined by T.I., who performed “About the Money” and “Bring Em Out.” Last night, the Aftermath signee’s set featured cameos from both Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar, who also made appearances during Ice Cube’s set. Donning a Prince symbol shirt, Dre performed three songs: “California Love,” “Still D.R.E.,” and “The Next Episode.” Meanwhile, Lamar came out to do “Backseat Freestyle.” .Paak initially came to prominence with his contributions to Dre’s long-awaited album Compton, before releasing his superb LP Malibu. See clips from the performances below. Update (10:46 a.m. EST): .Paak has shared a behind-the-scenes look at his collaborations with Dre at Coachella.
