Coachella 2016: Watch LCD Soundsystem Cover David Bowie and Guns N' Roses

Last night, the reformed LCD Soundsystem took the stage in Indio for their highly-anticipated headlining set at Coachella. It was James Murphy and company’s first festival performance since they split in 2011. The setlist culled tracks from each of their three albums. At the end of their set, they paid tribute to Murphy’s late collaborator David Bowie by covering “Heroes.” They also referenced their fellow Coachella headliners Guns N’ Roses—Murphy sang a bit of “November Rain” while they performed “New York I Love You,” Billboard reports. Check out footage from the band’s set below.

LCD Soundsystem’s Coachella set follows a recent string of smaller reunion concerts in New York and Pomona, California. Later this year, they’ll embark on a world tour, hitting numerous festivals along the way, such as Primavera Sound, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and Panorama. Meanwhile, the group are hard at work on their long-awaited follow-up to 2010′s This Is Happening: According to Murphy, the LP is coming sometime this year. Last December, he shared a new, holiday-inspired LCD Soundsystem song, “Christmas Will Break Your Heart.”
